• "Platform" refers to BookYogaSchool, the marketplace where organizers list retreats and customers send inquiries or request reservations.
• "Organizer" refers to the business, school, or individual host listed on the website that organizes and conducts the yoga retreats, teacher training courses, and holidays.
• "Customer" or "You" refers to the traveler or student browsing or booking retreats through our platform.

2. Role of BookYogaSchool

BookYogaSchool acts strictly as a marketplace/booking agent. We assist you in searching and submitting reservations with Organizers. When you request a booking or submit an inquiry, the contract for the retreat or training is made directly between you and the Organizer. BookYogaSchool is not responsible for the direct execution, quality, safety, or schedule of the yoga programs.

3. Bookings and Deposits

To secure a booking on our platform, you will be required to pay a reservation deposit (typically 15% of the total program cost).

• The remaining balance is paid directly to the Organizer in accordance with their specific payment schedule and conditions.
• Availability and prices listed on the site are subject to validation by the Organizer. Your reservation is only fully confirmed once the Organizer reviews and approves the request.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation terms are set by individual Organizers and are displayed on each retreat detail page.

• If an Organizer cancels a confirmed retreat, your deposit will be refunded in full or converted to a credit note.
• If you cancel your booking, eligibility for a refund depends on the cancellation policy tier selected by the Organizer at the time of your booking.

5. User Accounts & Authenticity

When you create an account (directly or via social login integrations like Google or Facebook), you agree to provide accurate and complete information. You are solely responsible for keeping your password safe and monitoring activity on your account.

6. Liability Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BookYogaSchool shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your attendance at any retreat booked through our platform.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will indicate changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.

8. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable to our business headquarters, and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.
